Activities of the Organization
Food Security and Livelihoods Support
This is a programme to have access to sustainable and profitable means of livelihoods, training of Income Generating Activities and modern farming activities. The foundation also donates food to the less priviledged.
Education
Angelic foundation strives to provide technological assistance to students in rural communities for effective uptake of the new CALA curriculum that requires use of technology, as most students do not have access to gadgets or internet connectivity.
The foundation also seeks to provide uniforms and fees for at least 250 orphans.
Sanitary wear for all
This a project that seeks to extensively assist in the provision of pads and sanitary wear to young girls in rural Zimbabwe
Mental Health
Due to the insurgence of drug abuse in Zimbabwe there has been a rapid rise in mental health issues. Additionally, there is a lack of funding for medication, human resources, and mental health promotion in both psychiatric hospitals and community-based care. The foundation therefore to establish mental health care / psycho-social centers and provide support to the vulnerable.
Health Care and Chronic Disease Support
The foundation seeks to provide medical support, care centres in Rural Zvimba community for all ages’ groups and ethnicities. The community has three dilapidated clinics with little or no medication.
Objectives of the Organization.
- To increase self-sufficiency among women, youth and children through income generating projects and skills development
- Advocate for the fundamental children’s rights and provide support at community level
- Improved access to education and psycho-social wellbeing of marginalized children and youth.
- Provision of adequate required medication and awareness to take care of people with chronical diseases.
- Provision of sanitary pads for under privileged girls.
- To assist in combatting the effects of climate change.
- Awareness campaigns/ workshops on HIV/Aids, early child marriage, prostitution and STIs.
- To promote sustainable livelihoods among youth with community participation. Promotion of girl child education, and life skills development.
